She spent her life on the tennis court. Wining match after match with a fearless commitment to her sport. Ranking top in the state, Theresa traveled around the world to Standford University and back to find Nick. Naturally, they met on the tennis court, but not in the conventional way…
Theresa just finished teaching a junior tennis class and walked out to see one of the mothers waiving excitedly at her. Hesitantly, she walked over. The woman enthusiastically began talking to her.
“Would you go on a date with my son?” she asked
Theresa was confused, “Your teenage son!?”
“No, my older son, he’s your age and just graduated from college like you.”
The woman then began to call her son and make him promise to go on a blind date with Theresa.
Completely perplexed by the situation, Theresa reluctantly agreed to go out with Nick. He picked her up the next night on the tennis courts and there wasn’t a dull moment for the rest of the date. The conversation flowed, they laughed and Theresa began to see the fun caring side of her handsome date. Nick won the ultimate match. Or maybe it was his mother…
Four years later and 54 stories up at Toronto’s Conoe restaurant, Nick asked Theresa to marry him. Personally, I can’t express how much I love Theresa and Nick. They are best friends first and everything with them just flows. They have a way with each other that is playful and soft at the same time.
Theresa is not afraid of color and I loved her tangerine tango inspired sweater and flowers.
Rawr! Can you say bombshell? Love!
Since their engagement was around Valentine’s Day, Nick and Theresa incorporated a theme into part of their shoot.
I think we all can agree that Nick did a very, very good job picking out this ring.
Right before I took this, Theresa looked into Nick’s eyes and said, “Wow, I can see all the green in your eyes,” Then she grabbed his chest and tried to tickle him. This lead to uncontrollable laughter and this image followed.
I can’t wait till their wedding in September!
