I think he knew instantly, or at least within the first few minutes. There was a reason Steve keep sneaking down to see Samantha at work. She intrigued him. Sam couldn’t help but notice him either and it was only a matter of time before he got the courage to ask her out.
Steve is funny, outgoing and always the life of the party. He told me after the wedding, “I had fun, but how could he not a wedding and bride as amazing as his?” I love, love, love these two together and the way they balance crazy laughter with their driven personalities. Their engagement session was hilarious, so I knew the wedding would be even better.
Steve is an old friend of mine from high school and I was so honored he and Sam trusted me with their wedding photography. The church at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial was phenomenal inside and out.
All hands on deck…
We were so lucky that it was 60 in November!
These might make the wall in my studio!
We stopped at Blossom Heath in between for more pictures.
I’m sure this is one of Steve’s favorites!
Have I mentioned how much I love willow trees?!
Samantha’s family sang their wedding song live at the reception and sounded amazing!
What a great way to end my last wedding of the year! An extra special thanks to my assistant Katie for being amazing all day!
