My fellow photographer friend, Jenna told about her roommate Kristin who just wanted to fall in love. She wanted magic, fairy tale love. And why shouldn’t she? She’d worked hard, put in her dues with bad dates and lost romance. I felt her pain. Women deserve better.
Jenna had an idea, Kristin needed to meet Andy. A casual meeting happened at a summer wedding for a mutual friend. Jenna thought they might hit it off. Andy ended up dancing all night with Kristin and gushing to his friends about her the next day. They were a perfect fit and Andy couldn’t let her get away! He proposed last summer and they start planning a wedding at the same church where they first met. Perfection!
Since Jenna was standing up in the wedding, she couldn’t photograph it alone, so I came in to help. We decided to trade services when I stand up in my brother’s wedding this June. It helps to have friends in the business!
First, I’ll start with all the beautiful winter details, which are mainly from the amazing talents of Tracy Park of Park Place Floral. She’s a creative genius and I am always honored to work with her.
Andy made this wooden box for their rings.
Love this shot of Kristin, she looks like an old Hollywood movie star.
Beautiful invites designed by Kristin Huyck.
It was cold, but this bridal party were troopers and stood in the cold while I shot.
Kristin, gorgeous! Andy’s not too bad himself 🙂
Jenna’s beautiful speech
