She’s quiet and patient. He’s shy and funny. They are best friends. They’ve been together through everything and more to come. I want to keep them in my pocket. I want to bottle their love and open it when I need proof. Proof that love like Donna and Adam’s still exists. Their love is so real, pure and inspires me to not only be a better photographer but a better person. That is powerful stuff. I don’t care if it seems corny. It’s the truth.
Donna and Adam…they are so many words I could write, but all I can say is thank you. Thank you for allowing me to document and follow your love story. From your engagement images to your wedding day, I felt so welcomed. Much love and appreciation…
This may be my favorite series of first look images ever. Many thanks to Kelly for assisting.
Ok, I love black and whites, I just can’t stop myself. After the ceremony, we went to the riverfront downtown Grand Rapids and got in a few shots before the rain started.
I actually kind of like rainy days. Not complete downpours but just a little sprinkle. The sky looks amazing and the light is dewy and perfect. Plus, it’s a perfect time for a cute umbrella shot.
Donna is pure perfection and beauty. We headed down the street to a building with a large overhang and let the rain fall and create great natural light to shoot with.
Their reception was held at San Chez and I loved every DIY detail Donna and Adam worked so hard on.
Ok, not to toot my own horn, but I think my photos look really good on a cake. It was such a clever idea and total surprise.
I love when couples choose to do a photo booth with me. I loved interacting with all the guests and bridal party.
Crazyness always ensues later in the evening…
Donna and Adam, thank you for an amazing, beautiful day!
