Kathleen knew Andy was worth it. She knew he was worth moving to a completely different state because their love is powerful. When it’s meant to be, you know it. I loved meeting and working with Kathleen and Andy for their beautiful morning engagement session at a the local apple orchard in Grand Rapids. I was so glad they made the drive up from North Carolina to spend the day with me.

The morning light was calling our names. It was chilly but they were troopers. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June!

It was cold, about 40 degrees. A blanket was much needed. This was shot around 10am. This light, which photographers call “Golden Hour” is available in the late evening about an hour before sunset and early morning right before harsh noon light.
