He moved to LA to fulfill his dreams. She was a California girl he didn’t think would give him a chance. But he had to take a shot, she was gorgeous and he couldn’t leave without cracking a few jokes. He decided for the direct approach. He bravely walked up to her and said, “You’re vibing on me aren’t you?” To his surprise, she laughed and they joked around for a while.
Tatiana told me later she was so sad when he left. She knew where he worked and decided to drop by one day. She walked up to him and said, “You’re vibing on me aren’t you?” Joe was instantly trilled and knew he had to get this girl’s number. Since that moment, Tatiana and Joe have been unstoppable together.
I’m fortunate in my job to see many couples in love, but it’s rare that I see this kind of love and strength on a daily basis. Tatiana and Joe, are a model for what a true partnership should be. Supportive, strengthening, encouraging and steadfast. I was privileged to know Joe in college and was so happy for him when he moved to California. Tatiana and I communicated via email for months and by the time I landed, I felt like I’d known her forever. Together, they are a true power couple, even forming their own training company, Dream Impossible. Proof that when you have love and determination, anything can happen. Dream the impossible dream!
I was privileged to hang out with Joe, Tatiana and their amazing family and friends before the wedding. I have never seen so much love in one room! I snapped these at the rehearsal dinner. (Sidenote: I had the best tacos of my life that night and think they may have contributed to making these images amazing, but Tot and Joe are pretty amazing too!)
The day started with awesome sunlight and I was right, the light is defiantly brighter and better in California, especially when you’re near the beach!

After the formalities, the craziest dance party I’ve ever seen ensued! It was like being at the club, the music didn’t stop and it just proved California people seriously know how to throw a party!
Tatiana and Joe, I can’t thank you enough. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me document your love, your families and hilarious friends. You are truly one of the best, most loving, and determined couples I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Thank you for letting me finally come to California and fulfill my dreams! I hope you are tearing it up in Hawaii!!
