When I found out Lauren was pregnant I did a little jump for joy because I knew her and Ryan were going to have the cutest baby ever. I shot their wedding last year and couldn’t wait to meet baby Liam when I heard the news. First off, Lauren is beautiful and Ryan isn’t too bad himself. Their baby is an even more perfect combination of the two of them.

I asked Liam if he wanted to come back to Grand Rapids with me. He drooled and gazed into my eyes. I took that as a yes. Sadly though, I had to give him back. Lauren and Ryan, I love you guys and I couldn’t be more thrilled for you both. I wish you all the happiness in the world! Much love and appreciation…

I decided to edit a lot in black and white for this shoot. There is just something I love about babies in black and white. Its simple and pure.

Seriously, I think all women hope to look this good after having a baby.
